Through our community partner network, Ohioans Against Extremism is strengthening the fabric of anti-extremist organizing and advocacy in Ohio by connecting organizations with different skill sets, program types, issue priorities, resources, and territory.

ELIGIBILITY TO JOIN
Entities eligible to be OAE community partners:
- Ohio-based 501(c) organizations – yes, even 501(c)3 organizations*
- Grassroots organizations that are not formal 501(c)s
- Businesses
- Affinity groups
- National organizations
*Ohioans Against Extremism is a 501(c)4 organization, but our mission and programming is nonpartisan. All OAE programs that are not 501(c)3 compliant will be labeled accordingly to ensure 501(c)3 partners can easily comply with legal requirements while still participating in the large majority of our programs.
Entities NOT eligible to become Community Partners:
- Political parties
- Political candidates
- Political Action Committees (PACS)
- SuperPACs
- Government entities
- Coordinated partisan campaign committees
- Unaffiliated individuals’
Together, we work every day to protect the foundational rights and freedoms of ALL Ohioans.
Due to recent changes in Ohio law, Ohioans Against Extremism cannot accept financial or in-kind contributions from foreign nationals or individuals who legally reside in the United States with a green card but are not yet a U.S.Citizen. Therefore, organizations or entities that become each OAE community partner affirms by signing the partnership agreement that it is not a foreign national, as the term is defined in Ohio Revised Code 3517.121(A)(2), and none of the underlying funds provided to the grantee come from a foreign national.
Entities are eligible for partnership if and only if they are values-aligned in mission. OAE reserves the right to decline or discontinue partnerships with entities that are not aligned with Ohioans Against Extremism guiding principles and values.
