What we care about

We pay attention to direct quotes and posts, campaign materials, policy positions, and endorsements.

We don’t care about political party.

Together, Ohioans are standing up for our values and demanding that candidates for office represent their voters, not extremist groups.

Ohioans Against Extremism defines extremism as rhetoric, policy, or action that:

  1. Promotes provoking physical violence;
  2. Targets, harms, or undermines the freedom of a specific community;
  3. Undermines the power of marginalized communities;
  4. Disproportionately enriches the rich or empowers the powerful; OR
  5. Disregards objective facts or science or deviates significantly from the majority of subject matter experts’ informed conclusions
